About me
Hi! I’m Julie.
I was born and raised in South Florida. In 2016, my family and I relocated to North Carolina following my husband’s retirement from the United States Air Force. That transition, along with our military experience, continues to shape both my personal values and my clinical work.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My education and training support a grounded, evidence based approach focused on helping clients build stability, insight, and practical skills for everyday life.
I hold a deep passion for working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. I also work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds who are navigating trauma, stress, life transitions, and identity development. I value creating a space that feels respectful, collaborative, and steady.
I share my practice with my therapy dog, Ryu. He may join sessions as a calming presence. If dogs make you uneasy or you prefer sessions without him, please let me know. Your comfort always comes first.
